LaVerne (Thacker) Nehlsen, "Lennie", married Walter Kenneth Thacker in 1961.  They had two children, a daughter named Nancy and a son named Larry. The family moved to Middlesboro, Kentucky sometime around 1967 and from there to Shawanee, Tennesse a few years later.  Her husband still lives in Shawanee.
